Tip to end a conversation with an insurance "Agent"

Have you even seen a group of people always hanging around the MRT station? Terrorist? How could those pretty ladies be a group of terrorist?( Base on what I have seen) Nope. They are worse. They are the insurance agents.

I don't understand why.. but do I look like I'm a good target? Why do they keep coming me? mmmm... but I have to agree that sometime, I have a part to play also. Who call me keep looking at them. Maybe that why. lol!! Nevertheless...

I came up with an idea on how to end the conversation. By getting a personal transport? Nope. I'm not as others. Haha. Okay. Listen up.

To be more friendly, let them speak to you first. Maybe something like this:

IA : Hi there!! Can I have a minute with you?

After that, you can silent them off:

Me/You : I'm sorry buy I have an agent already.

Usually the conversation will end here. But in some special cases, they will ask who is your agent. You will reply :

IA : Oh really? Then who is ya agent? Maybe I know he/she. (Trying to strike a conversation again)

Me/ You : I think you should know. His name is Smith.


Mr Anderson!!!!

Yeah!!! Remember to apply it ya? HAHA!!

The Big Day : Part 2

May 2nd 2007

Once again, sorry for posting this late. Was busy settling school work (Boring stuff ><) . Anyway... Yups! 2nd of May was another big day for Calvin and Karen. It was theirs wedding dinner! Well... Woke up that morning, for some unknown reason, I was feeling sick. Feeling feverish and it was raining Melissa (Meow) and dogs in the morning, so I didn't went to school that morning. (Don't try it ya?) lol!!!

It was JJ (John John) who woke me up that morning (or perhaps afternoon). He was having his off day so he asked me out for lunch with Evan. I couldn't reject them as they came all the way to Jurong Point. So at about 1300 we finish our lunch so I ask JJ if he wanna catch spider man 3. He said ok so without planning, we bought the 1420 show.

While watching the show, I kept thinking that how come the show was so long because in the middle of the show, Calvin keep calling us to ask where are we. Suddenly.. Both of us felt stress up while watching it and decided to leave almost at the end of the show. Rushing out of the cinema, both of us headed home for preparation. That was what happen that afternoon.

Now to the main highlight of the day (which is the dinner of course). After rushing home and had a quick bath, I rush down to catch a taxi to fetch JJ. Together we reach the destination at 1845 that evening. The hotel was so grand and big that both of us lost our way. Of course we finally manage to find our way.

From now on, I'll post more picture then word for picture speak a thousand word ya? So... Here you go :

As I was there quite early, I did get something to settle myself down and start taking up role to help up Calvin but in the end... I didn't get anything to do. Calvin just ask me to stand around and entertain his guests (Duh... As if I know his friend. lol!!) Nevertheless, I do it. Walking and smiling around till my family and YI guys.. and ladies came.

Calvin Bro Desmond, who was already a bit high on alcohol before the dinner. I really respect him. Even he was high. I think he really did a great job on being the MC of the night. YA THE BEST DES!!!! XD

That was all before the start of the dinner. Now to the walk in.

So that got the dinner rowing. Which I think everyone were waiting for. The dinner was good. So good that I forgotten to take picture of how the food look like. Sorry... my bad.. XP. As you all would know, in a Chinese wedding dinner, there will be a second walk in. THANK GOD!!! I was able to finish the shark fin (Which I believe it always the best dish in the whole dinner) before I got recall to help up Calvin.

And they are ready for the second walk in. I really think Karen look great in her evening gown. No much design but yet very outstanding. Indeed, Simplicity is Beauty. Less is more. Lm@o!!!

Right after that, I we when for the toast session with the coupler. Didn't take any picture because I'm on the stage with them shouting. Anyway.. after all this. I finally got a chance to sit down and eat some food. I was quite hungry by then. As I was taking my food, Desmond announces that the couple will be taking picture with each table. So... You know... Here I go again.

After all the table have taken their picture, it was the end of the dinner. Which mean I had finish my job. Time to have some fun. As usual, its only friend who stay behind to disturb the couple. Forcing them to drink and stuff. As for me, I'm staying behind to take more picture!! HAHA!!



I felt really honored to be Calvin best man. I was a very good experience.Thank Bro!!





After clearing the area. We went to Calvin and Karen Suite to further enjoy ourselves. As both JJ and I were impressed by the way Calvin photographer (Also by the name of John) took Calvin wedding photo, we decided to try some ourselves.







Well... Think it not bad for a noob like us. (Comforting ourselves. LoL!)

The Big Day : Part 1

Well..I think this post will be quite different as I'll have more picture then words. Ok! Here I go!!

Like the title said.. It a BIG day for my Dear cousin Calvin n his wife Karen. IT THEIR WEDDING DAY!!! Of course... It gonna be a big day for me as I'm Calvin Best man! (HEHE!! I'm so SOOOO honored!) Once again.. Thank for giving me this chance to take up such important role. Alright, back to the topic.

I so excited that I'm the first to woke up (Among the others Brothers) this morning!! Just check out this picture. lol!!



Yups!! Here ya go!! The man of the day with his just awake face!!! If you were there at his place, you will know how hard it is to woke up. It was actually raining. If it is a normal day, I just turn back to sleep. KAKAKA!!!



And after some brush up, we are ready to go!

Really thank God for the weather! Just ask we about to move out, the rain stopped too!!! All Praise to God! As a time keeper, I'm been looking at my watch most of the time and really.. For the first time in my life... Everything run according to plan!! So much so that we are always on time and some much time that we can...





We are able to slack at the void deck of Karen block.




Right after the Bridal arrived, we are on our way to fetch the Bride. Was quite a tough time there. The Sisters are very persistent. They insist we finish up the food (Lemon, chilli, Bittergourd n oranges)before letting us into the house. Poor Ah Goon, Han Qiang have to finish all the hot n bitter stuff. I only take two lemon. (Ciao Keng!! KAKKAKA!!)



All the bashing and trashing in to fetch the Bride took us about... 45 min and so we manage to fetch the Bride. Off we go now to Calvin place again for the tea ceremony.

As for this part, I must apologies that I didn't take much photo here as I need to be by the side Groom to collect ang pau (Red Packet). Anyway... Like I had said earlier, we are on time. So once again... We slack at Calvin place for quite long waiting for my relative to come for the tea ceremony. After the ceremony, we have a photo take session with the couple.





Alright!! Now this is the most exciting time. Right after that, we headed down to church for preparation.

Again... I need to apologies for this part as well... Not much photo as the camera is not with me. You asking why? Well... Cause I'm hold the most important thing of the day! THE RING!!! So I didn't want to add on weight upon myself. At this point of time, I'm really stress. Using the two second rule I learn from BBDC. I really applied it for the whole day. Really scare that I miss place it and screw up the wedding.




I really looked up to Calvin as a role model. He is some talent that he wrote a song for his wife. Awwwwwwwwwww... So sweet right? Well... After the whole thing, IT TIME FOR PHOTO SESSION AGAIN!!! Forgive me for been to excited. It is because I have never wear until so formal before and er... you know... I felt more handsome!! KAKAKAKAKA!!! Therefore I really take a lot of photo be it me or the newly wedded couple.
