The 08 Prayer

I can't imagine that 07 is almost coming to an end soon. Was doing some recap on what happen on 2007 at cell group last week. Conclusion... To God be the glory!! 07 had been quite a fruitful yet a year that God make me realize how weak am I. It is good that I know I weak am I, so that I will really put my trust fully on God. Therefore in return, I grew stronger spiritually.

Just like what Pastor Chris Long preaches last week. 08 is a year of leaping!!! As for me, I really need to leap onto God for my guidance as I believe that 08 will be a transition year for me.

Firstly, I going to grad soon and of course I had already been through national service (ORD loh!!!), therefore, my next phase of my life will be going to work full time. Seriously speaking, I'm kind of scare that I couldn't make it in the working world.

Secondly, I have been always noob in preaching the gospel. So in this new year, I really want to rely on God. To carry His cross and denied myself daily. To really summit myself to Him. For God have said in the bible.

Proverb 1 : 7
Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise the wisdom and discipline. (NLT)

Ok!! Time for prayer!!

Dear God

I lift up my life in to Your loving hands. As You know God, I'm going to the working world soon and You know that I'm actually very scare. So Lord, I pray that You even grant me Your love for in Your word, You said that Your perfect love cast out all fear. So Lord, I pray that You even guide me in looking for a job. Grant me too Your wisdom and knowledge that I'll be able to make it in the working world. Thank You Lord!!

I even lift Z3 into yours loving hands too. Thank You for leading Z3 through 07. You have made us grown more stronger spiritually. But Lord, I pray that You don't just stop here. Lord I ask you to add unto us more. Help us to understand You more in 08. In areas be it technically or spiritually, I ask for a breakthrough!!! Thank You Lord!!

I also lift up my unsafe family members and friends into Your loving hands. In the coming new year, I ask You Lord to shower your love on them. I ask You Lord to touch and melt their harden heart. Open up their spiritual eyes that they might see much You love them and open up their spiritual ears to listen and accept the truth word of yours! I also prayed that You will provide me with the chance to speak to them and as I speak, I pray that You will guide my me. Thank You Lord.

In Jesus name I prayed, Amen!!!

All the best people for the new year to come!!! May God shower His blessing in this next year of yours!!! God bless!!!

Happiest Birthday Ever!!! XD

Yups!! That right!! Last sunday with is 25/11 was my birthday!! Really thank God for what He had done for me this 26 year (13 years of spiritual) of my life.

Like I said in the title, this year birthday was my best birthday ever. As usual, celebrated with Z3 but this year was quite different. That is because this year, I got a gift from God. What is it, can't tell you people much here. Do check my profile out my profile as I gonna update it! lol! ><

What an Emo day.

Woke up in the morning about 1015. Finish bathing 1035. Finishing reading the Bible 1100. Went out to have breakfast and it started raining at 1115. Finish having breakfast 1145. So off I go to work and I realize that... I'm no suppose to start work at 1200. GOOD JOB!!! lol!!! So I went back home to slack a little longer. Now this is where I started to get Emo.

Was chatting on msn with Jason, for some reason, he has been showing me webby on wedding photography. The one he shown me today was really very emotional. As I was browsing though the photo, deep inside me I was thinking will I ever have this day? Well... I would said that I'll just needa keep praying. As my key verse is :

Matt 7 : 33 (NLT)
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously,
and He will you everything you need.

And just to reinforce of the above verse,

Jere 29 : 11 (NLT)
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord.
"They are plans for good and not just disaster, to you a future and a hope"

Therefore, like I mention above. I just gonna have to leave this thing up to God. As I can't gain control of my future, so there's no point worry for it also. I'll just have to do my best for now and hand everything into God loving "HANDS." Yeah!

mmmmm... Nothing much happening in my life recently. Had been either schooling or working. Trying to make time for shooting session also. Anyway..

I have a prayer request for you people. As most of you know that I graduating soon. The question for me now is what next? Of course I know that I gonna get a job and start working, but I really wanna get a job that God wanna me in. Therefore, do pray for me that God will guide me in my quest of searching for a new job. Joke of the day.

Was working just now (23/10/07) and I'm suppose to bring two customers to their sit.
As the sit around the first belt is full, therefore, I brought them to a sit at the second belt which the belt wasn't switched on yet. So I sited them down at the second belt of the store.

What happen was, my friend was cleaning a table at the first belt. So the customers I just sited them down ask me if they can change the table to the one next to the first belt. And here the joke.

I replied :" We are "ONING" the belt now."

SHeeeeet... Even until now, I'm still thinking why did I said that. Lm@o!!! KKAKAKAKAKAKA!!!

A week of shoot out!

Thank God for last week. It like an holiday to me because the lecturer for my clean room module went to US for a talk. Since my boss didn't plan me to work on Tuesday and Thursday, so I decided to go to take some picture with my new toy again. Bang Bang Bang!! IA!!! Haha!!

Tuesday 09/10/07

So I asked WeiShun to tag along. Thank God that he was able to make it as he only have one lesson on that day. So we met up for lunch and off we go to our destination.

Took 154 and dropped outside Yuan Ching Secondary School. Took a short walk in the new park there. As we walk. I was trying to be observe the surrounding and finding good composition. So I took out my gun.. er.. I mean cam and start shooting.

Tuesday 11/10/07

It was a wonderful day too. Woke up in the late morning, then off I went to tampines to meet up with Hui Ping for lunch. Needa pass her present as I forgotten to pass her on her birthday.
(How could forgotten about that? LoL!!) So after we finish our lunch, I went off to the interchange and happen to bump on to Yanni the XMM *Wave hand at a speed of 100 RPM*. So I ask her if she care to accompany to Botanical Gardens but she said she got something on in the evening. So... Poor me.. I took 67 alone all the we to the garden.

So I reached the garden. The days was quite challenging as the sky was cloudy and not much sunlight. For a moment I thought will rain. But... That never stop me. I took up the challenge and in fact, I needa thank God for the weather. It was actually quite cooling.

Actually wanted to try out slow shutter speed on the picture too. As I was getting ready, I saw a couple taking wedding shoot (to my surprise, there more then on couple shooting in the garden).
So I didn't wanna try it as there are pros around. I felt shy. lol!!









I'm a peeping Edgar!!! LoL!! Thank God for this shot! As I only have a 15 to 50mm lens, I shouldn't be able to take shot. But... For some reason, the bird didn't ran away as I walked closer.

A year of Transcendent

Once again.. Forgive me for blogging this late. It was suppose to be blog on 06/10/07 (sat) but.. I'm dead tired. lol!!


Anyway.. Wanna said Happy Birthday HuiPing!!! I guess this year her birthday was really a difference one. Why? Simply because... She is born again!!!! That how I came out with the title.
We were so glad that Hui Ping accepted Christ on her birthday. I used the word transcendent because, in the game I played, (RO) there a transcendent class for the game character if you happen to max it's level to 99. Then you will need to be reborn again to get into the transcendent classes. I even when to dictionary.com to find out the meaning of that word transcendent. According to dictionary.com :

tran·scend·ent : going beyond ordinary limits; surpassing; exceeding.

Yups. Therefore I chosen this word to describe her birthday. It a new year for her physically (which I think according to most women out there, it's not to be joyfully about. lol ><) and Spiritually. Truly she will be transform by God from now on.

And lastly.. Have a blessed Birthday HuiPing!!! May God shower His blessing other ya in this new year of yours!!! May this God show you more of Himself as you start this new journey with Him. Let Him be ya guide in whatever you do!!! =D

Well... As for me, after cell group, very eager to try out something with my new toy. What my new toy you are asking? Here is it :

Like I told u guys ( and ladies) in my earlier post, I'm suddenly into photography. If you gonna ask me why the sudden? I can only tell you my tag line :" I DON'T KNOW LEH *Rub nose* !!!!"lol!!

Of course that not the answer, it is for some reason, I'm inspire by Eng Yuan and Kallang wedding photographer John Lim (If you are preparing for your marriage and looking for a wedding photographer, I recommend you John Lim. For more information about John Lim, check out his webby : http://www.johnlimphotography.com/) and also by one of a comment made by Jason : "Cameras are only device that can freeze time." Well... Think he meant video cam too. lol.

I think that comment he made is very true. A lot of time, we think that our memory can help us to recall those memorable time. Yes. We do can, but like my Mechanics III lecturer told us : "Picture speak a thousand word."

Therefore, I decided to take up photography as an hobby. Not only to capture those memorable moment. I want to take scenery shot too. It is because by taking scenery shot, it make thing of nothing but how wonderful and great my God is.

God my provider. =D

Once again.. Gonna thank God for his provision. Had been looking for a
part time job with Wei Shun since three weeks ago. There wasn't any respond
from any of them which we applied. Haiz... Well... That was what happen the
first two weeks.

So for the left with one last week before the school reopen. I planning to
expand my area. Oh.. By the way.. All those to week we were looking
for job near area. Both of us have the same mind set that we need to cut on
our transport cost. Ok.. Like I said.. it was the last week of my holidays.
Was planning to go IMM and West Mall. I was praying on Sunday that for God
direction to see where should I go. Well... God did answer my but... Like
all written in the Bible. He gave me a strange answer. He said "Enjoy ya last
week of holidays. Go find after school reopen." I was like "huh?"
I Did have a some debate in my mind and finally I think it better not to find
as I have a retreat on the coming weekend (21, 22 and 23 of Sept)

The reason I didn't want to look for the job that week is that I scare that
they ask me to work immediately like all other part time job and most for the
part time job require you to work on the weekend. Therefore, it will burn my
retreat. Anyway.. The retreat was AWESOME!! For more info of what we do on the

Anyway... It was on that Sunday (23 of sept) morning that something happen.
Was listening to Pastor Daniel preaching. My phone kept ringing. I didn't answer
it as I am paying "ATTENTION" on his preaching. So after all the preaching and
team building stuff, I finally look at my phone. I was a unknown numbers that
called me. I return the call and I realize that is from Sakae Sushi. They called
me down for the second interview one monday.

As on monday... I went down for interview and guess what, I found myself a job!!!
It was a miracles!! Sakae Sushi was the first place I went to apply. Which is
also the first one to turn down me. Wow!! Isn't God great? Man... I really love
God. Like I likes to play joke on others. God play this joke on my. I was really preparing to look for a job after the retreat yet even before planning to go, God have provided me with a job!!

This is what I learn from today as I read the Bible :

Isaiah 46 : 4 NLT
"I will be your God throughout your lifetime until your hair is white with age.
I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you."

Well... I'll be working (26 of sept) later at 1700. So do keep me in prayer that
I have a spirit of excellent.

I Adore

Was preparing my song for the coming retreat which fall on the coming weekend.
So excited!! Therefore I went to look for lyrics for my song. Asked JR to be my
guitarist. As I sent him my song list, he told me that he doesn't know one of the
song. So I went to youtube to look for the song. Thanx to be to God. Found the song.
But he haven't reply me on whether if he know how to play (According to 17/09/07).
But I'm sure he can.

And happen to search for my favorite song. Guess what, I found it too.

Something to be remembered!

When I was in ITE, I always hope to get into poly and now that I'm in poly, I find it very bored. You asking why? As you all know, I'm very depend on my friend. So when I was in ITE, I really thanx God I have a branch of good friend. The people in poly is kind of different in ITE. I find that they are not very friendly. Most of them wanna mix with you it because that they wanted something from you. If u can provide, they will be ya "so call best friend". If not, away from them they will kick ya! Yups. This is what felt in my first sem.

Well... Would really wanna take time to Thanx God! Indeed... He is Jehova Jireh! When things don't seem well... He provide me with a branch of new friend! Really nice fellows!

Was suppose to blog this on wed, but them, you know, gonna do my fyp report again. Haha! So sorry for the late posting.

It happen one week before the last wed. A friend of my invited me for the class outing to Zoo. I was like... "huh? Zouk or Zoo?" You guys should know that almost every poly student like to club. So I ask that question but actually I thinking they really wanna go zouk. To my surprise, they told me is Zoo. Not Zouk! Singapore Zoological Garden! After hearing this, without thinking I told them to count me in!

As the day arrived, I was so excited that in the morning, I don't have the mood to studies. Finally reach the hour we been waiting for. But of course, we took our lunch first before we get going. Was at food court 4 but as usual it's very pack. We decided to have KFC for lunch that day.
After about an hour, we were finally on our way to Zoo. Some of them took one of my friend (Jonathan) cars. I think it will be better and fun to take a public transport with the others. And indeed... I'm right. lol!! Like the picture on ya left. We share to each others our knowledge in photography. I don't dare to said so much cos I'm still a noob in that.
Anyway...







Finally.. we reach our destination!! The Singapore Zoological Garden. It really mean ages since that last time I came here. I think there's at least 10 over years. Lol!! well... That really make me rame excited when I got here. Give me a feeling that I'm alot younger. lol

One of the most enjoyable part was a simulated topical rain forest walk. It was a confined area where the animal are able to roam freely. Of course, there's not tiger or lion around. The are hard to tame. The only tamed lion I knew was Aslan. lol!!! Really wished to be close to an lion. I'm a cat lover!!! lol

Ever wonder how a bat pee or poo? That was the question that came into my mind as I saw these bats. Well... Just check out the next pic.










They wasn't that stupid after all. They still understand that earth got gravity(9.81) So... Of course they did follow the law of newton and turn over themselves to pee. But then... One of the bats, I think was trying to impress us. He didn't turn over and start peeing. Guess what? Due to lack of pressure in the piping system, He pee on himself!!! Lm@o!!!

So we walked around until somewhere where we find a lots of farmer animal. I ask them to stop for awhile because I really wanna take some picture here. It really bring me back to those "good old days" in my childhood!



You guys must be guessing what is it right? I know confirm tortoise will be one of the answer that come to ya mind. But... I'm sorry to tell u that it wrong! Surprisingly it this pool that I uploaded above. It really felt me a very good impression. I remember it used to fill with a lot chewren. But now... It look really it look empty ( Thanx WS) which I think is good. If not I won't be able to take these picture.
